ASTERIX AND OBELIX,

The clientele at this classy cafe looks as cosmopolitan as the menu, which ranges from Italian to Thai. Danish chef/owner John Bach-Sorenson draws on several cuisines throughout the menu and sometimes within the same dish. For example, the swordfish, a New England staple, was encrusted in macadamia nuts, sauteed, and served with a Thai curry lobster sauce ($21). The mascarpone sauce on the penne with pancetta ($15) was delectably creamy, highlighted by fresh basil leaves. You can also order omelettes, grilled pizzas, a hamburger with French Swiss potatoes, or eggs Copenhagen (ah, the chef's native cuisine!).
